Sina Sutter is an artist with over 30 years of experience in fine art. Born in Matanzas, Cuba she began her formal art training at the age of eight. Her talent has awarded her with national exposure through multiple exhibits and the collaboration of a great number of prestigious institutions including the National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI), the Smithsonian Center for Latino Initiative during Women’s History Month, the U.S. Department of Health and the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM).
During the last ten years, Sina has been painting and creating art using watercolors and mixed media, adding a new dimension by incorporating a technique with hand cut glass and double canvas. Sina’s work can be described as one of creativity, energy and mindfulness.
Sina’s work has traveled through art expos in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and other important cultural centers in the U.S.
Sina currently lives and works in Orlando, FL where most of her work has been displayed. She is a recipient of El Josco Award for “Artistic Expressions” by the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce in Orlando, FL. She also participated in an exhibit celebrating Frida Kahlo’s life at the Mexican Consulate in Orlando, FL. in which she featured one of her most famous paintings Frida Hoy y Siempre which original piece can be found in Borderworx Market, Las Cruces, NM.
Sina owned and operated Pinturas Art Gallery located in Orlando, Fl., featuring her many art work. Her successful series of workshops “Learn to be Creative” and “Art Mindfulness Series have impacted multiple age groups from children to the corporate world, senior communities and artists alike. Sina’s lives by her long life message: “people of all ages and backgrounds can learn to take advantage of unleashing their creative mind to empower and develop themselves”.
